Lola Whitcome, 80, of Grundy Center died August 8, 2014, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital, while under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice.  Services were held on August 13 at the United Methodist Church in Grundy Center. Burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. August 12 at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center.
