Thomas John “TJ” Heronimus, 77, of Grundy Center passed away August 28, 2014, at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. A memorial service was held September 2 at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Grundy Center, with Pastor Jean Bower officiating. A memorial visitation was held on September 1 at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center. Inurnment followed the memorial service at the Rosehill Cemetery in Grundy Center. Memorials may be made in TJ’s name to the American Cancer Society, The Grundy Center Community School District Foundation or to the family for distribution to other charitable organizations.
