Cadet runners Lippert, Boomsma finish in top 10 at Nevada Invite

NEVADA – Bethany Lippert and Landon Boomsma of Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR both finished toward the front of the pack, coming away with top 10 finishes in the Class A large school division at the Nevada Invitational. Lippert’s time of 17:23 was good for a sixth place finish, while Boomsma’s time of 18:01 earned him a seventh place showing. Both the Cadet girls and boys placed sixth in the team standings.
Other top finishers for the girls’ team were Jessica Lippert who ran to the 24th spot, Patience Kauzlarich who went 37th, Taylor Dougan at 44th, and Desiree Folson at 47th. MaeAnna Ubben and Breanna Fisher followed closely in 50th and 53rd.
