Wolverine girls run to fifth at Jesup Invitational

JESUP – The Dike-New Harford girls ran to a fifth place team finish at the Jesup Invitational last Tuesday night, among a large field of runners from 30 different schools. Kadi Wright led the Wolverines with an 18th place showing among 159 varsity girls with a time of 16:18. Haylee Luna followed closely in 23rd, and Olivia Eiklenborg went 38th. Also contributing to the Wolverine team score were Jurane Lizer in 58th and Hannah Dove in 77th.
The Wolverine boys, who ran with an incomplete team, were led by Dylan Mrzlak’s 43rd place finish among 162 runners. Nick Nielsen ran to a 60th place finish, Bryce dall went 68th, and Collin Vanderlind 76th.
