Schildroth assumes Supervisor chair

    GRUNDY CENTER — The Grundy County Board of Supervisors elected its officers for its 2015 session at last Friday’s regular meeting.
    Supervisors elected Mark Schildroth to serve as the board chairman for the first time since 2010 while Barb Smith will serve as vice-chair. Procedure in recent years has been a rotation of the office among the five members of the Board, each of whom has served for several years.
    Prior to the meeting, oaths of office were read by Judge Bradley Harris to Supervisors Schilroth and Harlyn Riekena, County Treasurer Brenda Noteboom, County Recorder  Travis Case and County Attorney Erika L. Allen. Noteboom is entering her fifth term in office while Case and Allen are newly elected to their positions.
