‘Christmas in Conrad’ set for this weekend

CONRAD- As temperatures cool off and the holiday season is upon us, the annual community celebration of Christmas in Conrad will be held on Main Street on Saturday throughout the day and evening. Conrad Chamber-Main Street will once again sponsor the event, with activities running from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A pancake breakfast will be served from 8-11:00 a.m. at the Legion Hall, which will be hosted by the fire department, and the local Boy Scout Troop will sell wreaths during that time.
Local businesses that will be hosting open houses include the following: Conrad Hardware with an all-day open house from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and sampling of special beer breads and soups, Oakview Nursing Home with a Christmas Bazaar from 9:00 a.m. until noon, Hen and Chicks “Come Create With Me” Day with an open house from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
