New scoreboard installed at middle school-high school

GRUNDY CENTER – While students were away at spring break, a brand new scoreboard was being installed at the Grundy Center Middle School-High School track.
The new scoreboard cost around $65,000 according to Superintendent Jerry Schutz, but over half of that amount, $40,000, was paid for by four different sponsors: GNB Bank, the Spartan Boosters Club, McMartin Foundation and Greenbelt Bank. Schutz said that there are still two more spots lecft for sponsors, who will have their logo displayed on the scoreboard.
Schutz said that the new scoreboard was a long time coming, noting that the old scoreboard was over 30 years old.
For more information on the new scoreboard, read the full story in the March 24 edition of The Grundy Register.
