GCHS community play presents spring production: For Better or Wurst
GRUNDY CENTER – For the past six weeks, a group of 16 talented Grundy Center High School students have been practicing for the annual community play – and now they’re finally ready to showcase all their hard work to the folks of Grundy Center.
This year’s play, “For Better or Wurst,” is a comedy in two acts written by Craig Sodaro and produced by special arrangement with Heuer Publishing LLC of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The production promises to keep the audience entertained with a little bit of everything: murder, mystery and plenty of comedy.
The play will have two different show times at the Grundy Center High School Auditorium. The premiere will be held on Friday, April 1 at 7 p.m., and there will also be an afternoon showing on Sunday, April 3 at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door for $7 per person for adults and $2 per person for students.
Under the direction of Steven Brunk, the group of 16 cast and crew members at GCHS have put in countless hours of practice to put on a spring play for the community, show your support for this event by coming to watch them perform!
