Sawyer leads Grundy Center boys in victory

TRIPOLI – Grundy Center boys basketball defeated Tripoli, 63-44, at Tripoli High School on Monday, Dec. 16.
The Spartans improved to 2-2 overall. Brayden Sawyer had 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Dexter Whitehill added 10 points and four assists and Nick Ascher had nine points and seven rebounds.
Grundy Center grabbed 32 total rebounds, including 11 offensive boards to help defeat the Panthers (1-4).
