Bob was born on February 22, 1937, to his parents Delbert & Vivian (Boren) Clark in Grundy Center, Bob’s lifelong hometown. He attended school in Grundy Center, graduating in the class of 1955. After graduation, Bob met the love of his life Dorothy Kruse, and the two were united in marriage on November 9, 1956 at the Lincoln Center Christian Reformed Church in rural Grundy Center. Throughout their 64 year marriage, Bob and Dorothy had the perfect love story. They welcomed three beautiful children into their family, in which they doted on and through the years, they watched their family grow to grandchildren, and eventually, great-grandchildren.
After high school, Bob began his career at Winter’s Dairy, where he started delivering milk door-to-door. Winter’s changed names many times throughout the years and after 42 years with the company and working his way up to becoming route manager, Bob retired from Roberts Dairy. For the last 20 years, Bob worked as a custodian for the United Methodist Church in Grundy Center, where he worked up until he was no longer able.
Bob was a faithful and lifelong member of the United Methodist Church of Grundy Center, in which he was proud to be part of the family who founded the church, many years ago. In Bob’s free time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to play cards (in which laughter can still be heard!), and he enjoyed in most recent years, his trips to Florida with his family.  Most of all, he loved the Lord above, his family and friends, and food shared with family and friends. He was unselfishly devoted to his family, had an amazing and generous heart and “A LIFE WELL LIVED” truly sums up Bob’s life.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy, of Grundy Center; daughters Terri Clark of Cedar Falls and Laurie (Michael) Reed of Iowa Falls; grandchildren Ashley (Ryan) Junker, Logan (Lindsi) Clark, Gentri (Blaine) Eberhart and Allyse Phelps; great-grandchildren Sophia, Ryder & Delaney Junker, Stanton & Paisley Clark and Kaizin. Brinlee and Kru Eberhart; brother Ted (Jean) Clark of Independence; sister-in-law Lorri Clark of Florida; daughter-in-law Shelia Clark of Grundy Center; many nieces and nephews. He rejoins in Heaven his parents; best friend and son, Tim Clark; brother Bill Clark; sister-in-law Lois Clark.
