BCLUW's Abby Kemp wins Iowa Star meet

BCLUW's Abby Kemp won the girls race at the Iowa Star Conference meet at the Max Cross Country Course in Wartburg on Thursday afternoon.

Kemp's winning time was 20:32; North Tama's Grace Lidgett finished as runner-up in 20:46.

BCLUW's girls finished fourth as a team. Kalia Stover was 5th in 21:56. Collins-Maxwell won the girls team title, nine points ahead of North Tama.

The BCLUW boys finished third, led by three top-ten finishes. Cayden McLeland was fourth in 17:52, Cayden White seventh in 18:16 and Lincoln Stover eighth in 18:20.

Valley Lutheran won the boys title with 48 points, Collins-Maxwell scored 54 points in second.
