Reinicke named Mr. Wrestler finalist

Dike-New Hartford senior Nick Reinicke was announced as one of 15 finalists for the Class 2A Dan Gable Mr. Wrestler of the Year Award presented by IAwrestle in coordination with the Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association.
Fans can vote at IAwrestle.com once per 24-hour period for their favorite wrestler before Jan. 15. The winner of that vote will receive one vote in a 13-vote panel, with an IWCOA committee providing the other 12 votes, to determine the top 7, and then another round of voting will determine three finalists on Jan. 30.
The award will be presented at the Fareway Conference Center in Boone on Wednesday, March 1 at noon. Dan Gable and Mark Ironside will hand out the awards.
