Meet the 2023 AGWSR Homecoming Court

Queen Candidates
Kierra Dodd is the daughter of Aaron and Shayna Dodd. Kierra has been involved in Volleyball, track, dance, FFA, FCCLA, school plays and musicals, speech, choir, youth group, National Honor Society, Franklin County Fair queen, elementary mentoring, student council, District Office for FFA, yearbook, mission trips, and leading worship on my church’s worship team. Her interests include spending time with her family and friends, singing and playing the guitar, reading, running, hiking, bible journaling, and doing almost anything related to art. Kierra is planning to attend Iowa State University to major in Accounting and minor in Agriculture. Her advice to underclassmen is:     
“Get involved and try things that are new to you. People won't remember you for your accomplishments, but they will remember you for how you treated them. You will never regret being kind and choosing joy in every situation!”
 
Elizabeth Kielty is the daughter of David and Lisa Kielty.  Elizabeth has been involved with FFA, FCCLA, Cross country, basketball, track, National Honor Society, musicals and plays, speech, band, student council, and yearbook, youth groups, mission trips, and assisting with Bible School. Her interests include traveling with her family, going to the beach, running, being outside, and hanging out with her friends. Elizabeth plans to attend college where she can run cross country and track.  Her advice to underclassmen is:   
“Don't be afraid to try new things and do it with a smile.”
 
Catelynn Koop is the daughter of James and Christy Koop.  Catelynn has been involved with Football stats, Basketball, Track, Softball, Musicals, Plays, FCCLA, FFA, Speech, Academic Decathlon, Student Council, Choir, Youth Group, Elementary Mentoring, National Honors Society, and mission trips.    Her interests include spending time with friends, making crafts and doing at home projects.
Catelynn is planning to attend a four year college with an undecided major. Her advice to underclassmen is:   
“Look forward to the future but enjoy the present.”
 
Karis Lippert is the daughter of Harrison and Pam Lippert. Karis  has been involved in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, FFA, FCCLA, Student Council, Speech, Battle of the Books, plays/musicals, youth group. Her interests include cooking, reading, cleaning, spending time with my family and friends, and growing plants. Karis plans to attend Iowa State University and major in chemistry, with a minor in culinary food science.  Her advice to underclassmen is:   
“Always keep candy in your locker, nap whenever possible, become friends with your teachers, and don't jump through any school windows!”
 
Ava Olson is the daughter of Eric and Dani Olson. Ava  has been involved in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Softball, Musicals, Plays, FCCLA, Speech, Academic Decathlon, Student Council, Band, Choir, Youth Group, Elementary Mentoring, and National Honors Society. Her interests include spending time with family and friends, being outside, listening to music, doing arts and crafts, Bible journaling, water skiing, and reading. Ava plans to attend a four-year college and major in elementary education.  Her advice to underclassmen is:  
“Always be extra kind to everyone, because you never know who might need some extra kindness.”
 
King Candidates
Noah Clikeman is the son of Bret and Wendy Clikeman. Noah has been involved in Football, Wrestling, Track, and the play.  His hobbies include hunting and spending time with friends. Noah plans to attend Iowa State to major in marketing.  His advice to underclassmen is:   
“Take advantage of every opportunity because time flies and you don’t want to miss out.”
           
Kaden Abbas is the son of James and Shelby Abbas. Kaden has been involved in Football, Wrestling, Track, Baseball, FFA, and the Play. His interests include spending time with family and friends, fishing and hunting, and Playing xbox with the boys.  Kaden’s plans for next year are undecided. His advice to underclassmen is:    
“Don't hate on your teachers and they probably won't hate on you.”
 
Aiden Heitland is the son of Shawn and Amy Heitland.  Aiden has been involved with Football, Wrestling, Track, FFA and Youth at Austinville CRC.  His interests include working, farming, and fixing and repairing equipment.  Aiden plans to attend community college and work as a mechanic. His advice to underclassmen is:   
“There are 13 years of school but 4 are yours to build who you are, get involved, stay involved, and life is what you make it. (Don't screw it up!)”
 
Gabe Nederhoff is the son of Camie and Courtney Nederhoff. Gabe has been involved with Football, Basketball, Golf, and the Play. His interests include spending time with friends and family, golfing, boating, and playing Xbox with the boys.  Gabe’s plans for next year are to attend a 4 year university and study either actuarial sciences or sports management. His advice to underclassmen is:
“Although everyone will tell you that you're currently living the greatest time of your life, don’t let yourself peak in high school.”
 
Ryley Bohner is the son of Nichole and Dave Bohner. Ryley has been involved with Football, Golf, Track, Baseball, Speech, and the Musical. His interests include Hanging out with Friends and Sports. After graduation Ryley plans to join the Marine Corps. His advice to underclassmen is:
“Have fun while you're still in high school.”
 
Community Events for Homecoming Week
Wednesday, Sept. 13 - Powder Puff Football on the football field at 6:15 pm; Aftershave boys volleyball in the gym at 7:30 
Thursday, Sept. 14 - Pep Rally at Grand JiVante (Senior cross country, football, volleyball athltes, court candidates, cheerleaders, band)
Friday, Sept 15 - Parade at 2 pm, Pep Rally and King/Queen Coronation inside the gym at 2:30 pm, Court and their parents will be introduced around 6:30 pm before the football game vs Nashua Plainfield
