BCLUW's Anderson signs with Grand View golf

DES MOINES – Lauren Anderson went all in on the links and the BCLUW senior has a college future in golf as a result.

Anderson finalized her commitment to Grand View University's women's golf program earlier this month, a fairly recent decision as the Comet multi-sport athlete debated between softball and golf throughout the BCLUW basketball season. Anderson also played volleyball for the Comets.

"It took me until then to realize that golf was what I wanted to, just the right decision to make," Anderson said.

Anderson is a two-time all-NICL West golfer and was on the second team of last year's Iowa Golf Coaches Association all-state team after BCLUW went to the Class 2A state meet as a team. She was also an all-district selection by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association, along with Mackenzie Trinkle.
