Clarke University is starting a football program from square one.

Whatever the future may bring for the Pride's football program, set to begin a full schedule in 2019, Keegan Rhinehart is excited to lay the foundation for Clarke football.

The BCLUW first-team all-district lineman made his commitment to Clarke University official recently, where he plans on redshirting as a freshman as Clarke is expected to play a limited scrimmage schedule before becoming fully instituted as an NAIA football program in two years.

"It's a pretty cool feeling being able to start something from scratch," Rhinehart said. "I love the campus and Dubuque's a beautiful town and a pretty cool place."
