Beaman man charged with felony domestic assault

A Beaman man with a history of domestic abuse has been charged after an alleged assault on a female victim at his home nearly two weeks ago.
           
Thirty-three year old Kellen Joseph Nail was arrested at a Main Street apartment in Beaman on the afternoon of October 19. According to a criminal complaint, he and the victim were arguing when the dispute turned physical, and Nail allegedly struck the victim several times on her head and neck, sat on top of her and put his hands around her neck.
           
Nail was previously convicted of Domestic Abuse Assault in June of 2013 and in February of 2016 in Marshall County. An initial appearance was scheduled for Monday at 1:30 p.m.
