Clifford Gifford, 93, of Liscomb, IA, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare in Marshalltown, IA. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 W Main Street, Marshalltown. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services at Anderson Funeral Homes. Inurnment will follow in Liscomb Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com.

Clifford Allen Gifford was born June 3, 1925 in Marshall County, IA, to John and Marrit Gifford. After graduating from Liscomb High School, he entered the Army Air Corps in August 1943 where he flew the B25J Bomber. He was honorably discharged in November 1945. He had three daughters with Viola Hobson Gifford. Clifford returned to Liscomb and farmed for over 40 years until he retired. He was a member of the Liscomb Church of Christ as well as the American Legion receiving a certificate for 70 years of continuous membership on March 15, 2016. 

Clifford is survived by his daughters, Linda (Roger) Lawson of Springfield, IL, Becky Schnicker of San Antonio, TX, and Debra Gifford of Comfort, TX; five grandchildren: William Lyon, Michelle Wright, Natalie VanKanegan, Adam Schnicker, and Justyn Huckleberry; and four great-grandchildren: Jordan Wright, Caden Wright, Gavin VanKanegan, and Katelyn Lyon. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Duane.
