D-NH's Weissenfluh wins individual title, Wolverines finish 4th

MARSHALLTOWN – Dike-New Hartford's Bo Weissenfluh ended his high school career as a state champion, winning the individual title at the 2A state golf meet in Marshalltown on Friday.
 
Weissenfluh shot a two-day total of 144 with matching scores of 72 on Thursday and Friday, winning by one stroke over Panorama's Kolby Shackelford. The Wolverines earned medals as a fourth-place team finisher with a 629 team total, improving 15 strokes from Day 1 to Day 2 (322 to 307). Des Moines Christian was third with a 623, PCM the runners-up with a 619 and Carroll Kuemper won the team title with a 604.
 
D-NH junior Colton Harberts shot a 154, followed by Ben Freese with a 156, Chase Wilson with a 178, Nathan Kriegermeier with a 181 and Kaleb Kinskey with a 187.
