The Traer man who was allegedly found passed out in the driver’s seat of his car with an unregistered 12-gauge shotgun at the east Grundy Center Casey’s on April 18 has been charged with an additional count of felony Forgery due to an altered check discovered during the search.

According to a criminal complaint filed on May 8, Terry Lee Schoenhut II, age 34, possessed a forged check in the amount of $988.44 from Precision Ink Graphics in Brooklyn, and that offense is classified as a Class D felony. He has also been charged with Driving While Barred, an aggravated misdemeanor, as he was not set to regain his license until May 15, 2020.

The defendant was released on a promise to appear last month but failed to show up for court on May 7, and Judge Jeffrey Harris has since issued a warrant for his arrest.
