Festival of Trees to bring ‘The Colors of Christmas’ to Grundy Center

GRUNDY CENTER — The 2016 Festival of Trees celebration will kick off the Christmas season in Grundy Center November 19 and 20.  This year’s theme is “The Colors of Christmas.”
More than fifty beautifully decorated Christmas trees will be in display at the Grundy Community Center’s Wilts Room for the weekend. The public viewing will be on Saturday, November 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, November 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During this time, a number of local musicians will be performing live entertainment.
Other activities going on at the Community Center that weekend include a free breakfast with Mrs. Claus and Christmas crafts for the children on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m., and the Grundy Community Preschool & Childcare Center’s soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
