G-R dissolution commission sets next public hearing

When the Gladbrook-Reinbeck dissolution commission convened in the high school commons area last Wednesday night, little had changed since its last meeting in December, and a public hearing was set for April 17 with hopes of voting on the issue in the fall.
 
Just two members of the public attended the meeting, which clocked in at around a half hour, and Superintendent David Hill and commission chairwoman Anne Boyer provided recaps of the responses received from surrounding school districts on the division of territory and assets if the dissolution were to pass.
