Grundy Center Schools moves registration online

GRUNDY CENTER - With ‘Back to School’ season upon us, parents are busy checking school supplies lists, running to the shops and soaking up the last bit of summer with their children. One thing to help ease the burden on busy parents in the Grundy Center Community School District is the new online registration system.
In just a few minutes between fixing snacks and chartering kids around, parents can sign their children up for school without leaving their home.
The new online registration system was approved by the board earlier this summer, and is officially up and running.
Parents can find the online system by visiting the Grundy Center Schools website, where a link to the system can be found on the home page, or by visiting: www.spartanpride.net/2018/08/2018-2019-registration/
For returning students, parents should follow the link to the Parent Portal and log in. Once there, a link for the Online Registration will appear on the left side of the screen.
Fees for the 2018-2019 registration will be collected online through the portal as well, where parents can pay for textbooks, lunch money, and other optional fees such as a yearbook, activity pass, driver’s ed, etc.
Parents who don’t have a Parent Portal account created yet should contact either Patti Martens pmartens@spartanpride.net, Morgan Benson mbenson@spartanpride.net, or Dorinda Nederhoff dnederhoff@spartanpride.net, to have an account created for them.
