IF-A/AGWSR cross country kicks off season at home invite

HAMPTON – The Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR girls and boys cross country teams kicked off the season at a home invite at Maynes Grove in Hampton last Thursday.
 
The Cadet girls placed second in the team race with 57 points, trailing only Humboldt (29) as three IF-A/AGWSR runners placed in the top ten, led by Aubrie Fisher's third-place finish in 20 minutes, 28.16 seconds.
 
The Cadet boys were fifth in the team standings with a 127 score. Clear Lake won the team title with 38 points.
 
Brayden Penning was the top IF-A/AGWSR runner in 17th place in 19:18.37.
