GRUNDY CENTER – Last week, Ankeny-native Maci Lane began her duties as the new branch director of the Grundy Family YMCA.
Former director Andrew Peters, who took a position as Chief Operating Officer of the Black Hawk County YMCA, welcomed Lane to her new role.
“I'm excited to welcome Maci into the Branch Director role,” he said. “I think she will do a great job as the leader of our Grundy County Branch by bringing a new perspective to the services we offer county residents. The YMCA has experienced a great amount of success since we began operating in Grundy County in 2003.  Our county places an importance on wellness and providing the right programs for all ages. I think Maci will find that residents in this area do a great job of supporting each other. Small town values unite people and create a sense of pride in the community. Welcome to our community Maci!”
