Murra accepts superintendent position in Knoxville

    GRUNDY CENTER - The Grundy Center Community School District will have new leadership at not one, but two of its key positions next year.
    Late last week, the Knoxville (Iowa) Community School District announced that Grundy Center Superintendent Cassi Murra would be its new superintendent in the 2014-15 school year. Grundy Center School Board President Bob Johanns confirmed the news Monday.
    “I knew that she had been looking,” he said.
    The new superintendent will join new High School Principal Ann Lebo, who was tapped last week to succeed the retiring Steve VanderPol.
