Nathaniel Charles “Chuck” Bownes, 89, of Morrison passed away October 11, 2015, at his home in Morrison while under Care Initiatives Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 10:30 AM at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14 from 5 to 7 PM at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Washington Township Cemetery.
