One person was injured in a three-car crash just outside of Grundy Center on Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, on Highway 14 approximately two miles north of Grundy Center.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, a Toyota Prius driven by 45-year-old Daniel Spooner of Sibley was headed northbound on Highway 14 and made a left turn in front of a southbound Toyota Camry driven by 20-year-old Damond Jones of Cedar Falls.

After Spooner turned in front of Jones, the two vehicles sideswiped, causing Jones' vehicle to strike a third vehicle - a Honda Accord driven by Sheridan Farley, 66, of Reinbeck. Sheridan’s passenger, Leann Farley, was transported to Grundy County Memorial Hospital for upper torso injuries as a result of the collision.
