Second half surge leads Wolverines to district win

The Dike-New Hartford boys put up a whopping 50 points in the second half en route to an 83-47 Class 2A, District 5 semifinal win over Waterloo Columbus on Thursday night in Parkersburg.
           
Star senior Ben Latusek finished the game with 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists to lead the way for the Wolverines (20-3), while Connor Blough added 16 and Broden Coulter had 12. D-NH shot a stellar 31-of-52 (59.6 percent from the field) and broke away after leading just 33-30 at halftime.
