An Ankeny woman is facing felony charges in connection with the theft of an Airstream trailer and surveillance cameras the sheriff’s department had set up to monitor a farm between Grundy Center and Eldora last summer.

Lisa Nichole Speicher, age 39, of Ankeny, along with her now estranged husband William, is alleged to have taken the camper—valued at $8,500—on May 18 and stealing a trail camera from the property of Rose Pence on 250th Street shortly thereafter. A warrant was issued in late October, and she was transferred to Grundy County after being arrested on methamphetamine charges in Polk County in December.

Speicher made an initial appearance on January 29, and her arraignment is scheduled for February 26. Mr. Speicher, who is facing similar charges, is set to stand trial in Grundy County beginning on March 14.
