Soaking up the sun: Grundy Family Aquatic Center opens for the season

GRUNDY CENTER - Despite getting a late start opening due to school going later into the year, the Grundy Family Aquatic Center is now open for the season, and already packed with pool-goers looking to soak up the sun this summer.
Grundy Family Aquatic Center Manager Colton Sandell says the pool’s opening day on Friday, June 7th was packed with eager kids lining up at the door, ready to splash into summer.
“We opened a little later than usual this year since school wasn’t out as early, but so far it’s been great and we’ve had a lot of people in,” he said. “There were a couple of days were it was a little chilly, but with it warming up more and more, we’re planning on a consistent crowd.”
