The Dike-New Hartford, Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck and BCLUW girls’ track teams finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, at the Hudson Relays last Monday night.

The 20-team field featured plenty of talent from around the area, and the local schools there recorded just three first place finishes: BCLUW’s Samantha Ubben in the 800 (2:30.12), AGWSR’s Bethany Lippert in the high jump (4’10”) and the D-NH 4x400 team (4:11.53).

The Wolverines, who came in sixth as a team with 50 points, also notched a runner-up finish in the 4x800 (Allie Aalderks, Kadi Wright, Jenna Hensley and Lauren Vanderlind) with a time of 10:24.96 and third place finishes in the sprint medley relay (Bailey Fettkether, Sydney Petersen, Taylor Hedges and Jurane Lizer, 1:56.88) and the 4x200-meter relay (Josie Claude, Petersen, Madison Hedges and Aalderks, 1:52.82).
