State track tentative qualifiers: Spartans to compete in 16 events

Of the local schools qualifying for next week's state track and field meet in Des Moines, Grundy Center will have the biggest presence with the Spartans qualifying for 16 different events, including 12 qualifiers in 11 events for the boys.
 
The boys added 11 of those qualifiers through at-large bids after a competitive district meet in Hudson on Thursday.
