Balanced Grundy girls bop G-R

REINBECK – The Grundy Center girls are always finding ways to contribute.

Last Tuesday, the Spartans had a team offensive effort to overwhelm Gladbrook-Reinbeck, 64-20, in NICL West play in Reinbeck.

The Spartans improved to 10-0 overall with the victory. Hailey Wallis led the team scoring with 15 points, and Reegan Zinkula, Kylie Willis and Brooke Flater all contributed eight points each.

Grundy Center head coach Matt Lindeman said that even on nights where the offense isn't as prevalent as Tuesday, the Spartans know the different ways they can chip in for a Spartan victory.

"You might not be scoring or hitting your shots on any given night," Lindeman continued, "but there's a lot of other facets to the game. What we provide in the press and the rebounding and all the little things make a difference over four quarters, and that's why we're able to do the things we want to do."
