Jeff Carson, Grundy Center Municipal Utilities manager, brought the Grundy Center City Council up-to-date on the blackout situation at the meeting on Monday, June 1.

According to Carson, several engineers have come to Grundy Center to try to identify the issue preventing the generators from functioning as expected, and an additional voltage regulation failure issue. These issues resulted in additional blackouts on the night of May 26.
