Evelyn P. Runge, 90 of Nevada, Iowa formerly of Grundy Center died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Story County Medical Senior Care, in Nevada, Iowa. Memorial services were held July 31 at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center with visitation held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.     Dorothy Jane Reynolds, 94, of Grundy Center, passed away July 25, 2014, at Grundy County Medical Center. A visitation was held Monday, July 28 at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center followed by an Eastern Star Service. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 29 at First Presbyterian Church, 801 8th St, Grundy Center, with Reverend Mike Campbell officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, in celebration of Dorothy.

Thomas W. Weissenfluh, 57, of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away of natural causes, on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Unity Point Allen Hospital in Waterloo. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Dike. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Donald “Don” Edward Catherwood, 69, of Union, died July 26, 2014 at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.
